If you have not yet attended classes at our Iyengar Yoga Centre, then it’s simple to do so – we offer a free trial to all new students. Register to book your class.

Remedial and recovery

We offer this specialist class as an option for students who require a little more support. This class is aimed towards people who are in the process of healing and recovering from physical injuries or working with both chronic and acute conditions.

Improver

Our improver classes are ideal for overcoming some of the difficulties experienced when correcting body alignment. From improved strength and flexibility, students can expect to refine their techniques and increase their extension and stabilty within the poses. A perfect way to get started! Whether you are a complete beginner or just a little rusty, our Free Trial classes offer the opportunity to see if Iyengar yoga is for you.

Children’s classes

Great way the build a good foundation for the future. These classes are taught by Anna are light hearted and fun, in addition students will learn about themselves, their bodies and how to move through a variety of postures. Suitable for ages 6 years up to 17.

Basics

New to yoga or returning to it after a break? Then this is the class for you. Our Basics class will ease you into practice gently and ideal for ironing out aches and pains…

Beginners

If you have attended our basic classes or already have some yoga experience, our Beginners classes are a perfect way to build a good solid foundation in yoga

General

These classes are aimed for students who have already been introduced to Iyengar yoga or have attended our Basic and Beginners classes.

Intermediate

Take the next step on your journey! With our Intermediate classes starting with level 1. In this class students can learn to experience and practice new poses and deeper actions.

Experienced

With precise and detailed techniques, students work to overcome their limitations to enhance a deep and balanced practice.

Since starting yoga at the Maidstone Yoga Centre it has made a vast improvement to my scoliosis. It has been through practising various yoga poses which has given strength and opening to my upper back and in main improved my overall posture in general.

The tutors at the centre are friendly and knowledgable giving clear instruction of each pose and ensuring that they are accessible to all. Both Lin and Leo are fantastic at explaining and making adjustments that have furthered my understanding and development week on week.With a emphasis on good posture and alignment this is something that I have found beneficial both on a off the mat.

I would like to thank both Lin and Leo for their wonderful teaching, guidance and the noticeable change to my upper back since attending classes.
