New to yoga or returning to it after a break? Then this is the class for you. Our Basics class will ease you into practice gently and ideal for ironing out aches and pains if time is limited. We start from the very beginning, and encourage our students to build a confident and steady practice.
Suitable for beginners
There’s no need to be super flexible or strong at this stage – our yoga classes are designed to guide you through a range of postures with correction and good understanding. Our students find that with greater strength and flexibility the whole body functions more efficiently, alleviating general aches and pains.
Our classes also focus on Yoga breathing exercises called pranayama. These help to reduce stress and tension, and to relax your central nervous system, enabling you to cope better with life’s challenges by developing new energy.
Yoga for athletes
For those of you who are keen athletes, yoga is a good balancing tool. It not only elongates shortened and fatiqued muscles, it is also an excellent way to gain mental focus and to prevent or recover from injury.

Tuesday morning 11:30
Thursday lunchtime at 12:00
Wednesday evening 19:30
Thursday evening at 18:00
Saturday morning at 9:30
