Director of the maidstone yoga centre, Lin was drawn to yoga to correct lower back pain and soon began to realise its tremendous benefits. Lin has now been practising Iyengar yoga for over 26 years and teaching for 14.  Lin makes regular visits to Pune, India, where she studies and takes part in the classes taught by the Iyengar family.

"From my very first class I was hooked, with so much to learn - not just from the asana practice, but with the whole subject. Iyengar Yoga opened the door to a refreshing, absorbing and balanced approach to my Yoga.  This was to be the start of a long journey that has enhanced and added great value to my life physically and mentally."

Lin is a qualified Junior Intermediate Iyengar Teacher and belongs to the BKSIYTA (BKS Iyengar Yoga Teachers Association). In addition Lin holds a full teaching qualification.

Leo is a new teacher to the maidstone yoga centre, but brings a lot of experience and maturity in her teaching.

Leo is a certified Iyengar yoga teacher and a dedicated practitioner of yoga. As well as teaching at the maidstone yoga centre, she also teaches in the Ashford area. Leo holds an honours degree in psychology (BPS recognised) and has always taken a keen interest in health and issues around personal development.

Running many of our foundation courses, Leo is always pleased to answer any questions you have about the centre or Iyengar Yoga.

Erika is also a fully qualified Iyengar Yoga Teacher and covers Foundation and Beginner classes. Erika has worked with Lin for over 5 years, forming the Mid Kent Yoga school with Lin and now brings her special teaching methods to the maidstone yoga centre.

Erika's classes will begin in the September (Autumn) term.

New to our team, Wendy will be running classes over the summer period on a Thursday daytime. Wendy has been practising Iyengar yoga for over 20 years and currently teaches in the Larkfield area.
